Scholarship Application

YSYOA has been supporting music education and providing music experiences for members of the Yellow Springs Community for over 50 years. In our efforts to continue this service, we are offering scholarships for local students who wish to enhance their musical knowledge and skills through private lessons.

Our goal is to get students started on the path to a lifelong interest in and love for music.

YSYOA will: 

• Provide payment for 6 lessons up to a total of $120 which will be paid to the instructor 

• Provide the possibility of a partial scholarship for further lessons

• Provide recital possibilities

  
  

• Student will:  Complete and return application as indicated 

• Indicate their choice for an instructor 

• Perform in a concert or recital either in the studio of the instructor or with their school program or other YSYOA approved group
